Blocking TEs

So this is what I have learned about Blocking TEs...It is not a good idea to go 100% blocking.  You do not need all that excess blocking and you do need some receiving skills.  This is an improvement on the TEs that I use on my Run Heavy Maine Rampage team.  At the moment, we are holding our own versus some of the big dawgs in the Oak League.  I would use this build as my BTE or as both TEs in a run heavy offense.  This how I would start off...

This is what it would look like at lvl 25 unboosted.

Here it is at lvl 25 boosted.

Non S* Receiving TEs Revisited

This is a build that I would use for my receiving TEs.  The focus is on receiving with just a sprinkle of run blocking skills, to keep your HB happy.  Receiving hands is important for any receiving position.  Receiving consistency helps in pressure situations (think Rookie Blitz Spam) and it powers Prime Time.  The physicals are also important to build up during Rookie as they are your foundation.

This is what the build looks like at level 25 unboosted.

This is what the build looks like when boosted.  Whenever possible boost you should boost your players.  They will perform better and your owner and coaches will totally appreciate you.  If they don't then you are always welcome to come play for me.

WoW, It has been a long time!  I am going to attempt to bring this blog back to life.  I think I will begin by looking at my old posts and maybe editing them a bit.  After that my goal will be to add new material.  If there are things that you would like to see or you have any fresh ideas please comment here or catch me in the game.
